Senior Infrastructure Project Delivery Manager; Technical

Billing Rate: $80 – $105 per hour (1099/W2/C2C depending on experience)

The Senior Infrastructure Project Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure programs and projects. This role ensures successful planning, execution, governance, and operational transition of infrastructure initiatives across cloud, data center, network, security, and enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic leadership and stakeholder management capabilities to deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Lead large-scale, multi-stream infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and executive dashboards.

• Oversee infrastructure initiatives across:
• Data center migrations & modernization
• Network & security transformations
• Disaster recovery & business continuity
• Validate technical designs in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and enterprise standards.
• Engage senior business leaders, CIOs, and technical stakeholders.
• Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers.
• Lead steering committee meetings and executive updates.
• Drive alignment between business, infrastructure, and application teams.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Manage change control processes and scope governance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
• Implement best practices aligned with ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, and Agile methodologies.
• Own project financials including forecasting, cost tracking, and variance reporting.
• Optimize resource utilization across cross-functional technical teams.
• Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and ROI realization.

• Ensure smooth handover to operations and support teams.
• Establish SLAs, OLAs, and performance monitoring metrics.
• Oversee post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery.
• 5+ years in senior project/program management roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale cloud and infrastructure transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture and security principles.
• Experience managing budgets in the multimillion-dollar range.
