Cisco's Engineering Group is a core technology group with breadth across Cisco. By defaulting and delivering market‑lead campus network solutions with Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) which is an intent‑based network architecture that delivers advanced solutions for enterprises.

We're looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to drive the adoption of technologies that deliver network visibility and software‑defined network. The role calls for a proactive, detail‑oriented engineer ready to engage with customers and sales teams, contribute to product strategy, and consult. You will work on automation and cloud solutions, develop network management tools, and craft messaging for Cisco's solutions. Expect to create technical content and travel for training sessions with global customers and sales teams, balancing independent tasks with collaborative projects.

• Currently enrolled in a certification program (e.g., Boot Camp, Apprenticeship, Community College), or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. Relevant fields include Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience in Dev‑ops programming and scripting experience in Python, Linux, or other programming language.
• Able to legally live and work in the country for which you’re applying without visa support or sponsorship.

• Excellent communication skills both technical and non‑technical.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Confidence to understand sophisticated and in‑depth technical situations, related business challenges, and be able to communicate these technologies in a clear and simple way to customers and sales teams.
• Interest and knowledge of networking technologies, and networking is desired. Cisco Data Center Networking, NX‑OS Switching, Cisco Routing, Catalyst Switching, IOS XE, AIRONET AP and Wi‑less Controller experience are desired. Cisco certifications are desired.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• A I Network concepts, GPUs, xPUs, QoS congestion control mechanisms.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job‑related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non‑exempt employees; 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year‑end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco;
