Data Scientist

Baynovation is hiring a Data Scientist to join our team in San Jose, CA. • 2+ years of experience in roles related to data science, statistics, or machine learning.
• Data driven mindset with a degree in any quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
• Basic understanding of experimental design (such as A/B experiments) and statistical methods.
• Experience with statistics methods such as forecasting, time series, hypothesis testing, classification, clustering or regression analysis
• Good programming skills and knowledge of data science tools and libraries in Python or R, ability to write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.

• Data Scientist is core position involved in executing data analysis and modeling tasks
• The overarching mandate for the Data Scientist is to execute on analytic delivery and to develop new analytic capabilities for the organization
• Works on data model maintenance, development, & optimization, data file preparation, reporting & ad-hoc analyses
• Perform predictive modeling & convert analytic findings into customer insights
