Lead SAP BTP Consultant
San Jose, CA (Local Candidates Only)
12+ Months Contract
$70/HR on W2
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Consultant with 15+ years of overall IT experience to support a long-term engagement with a direct client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrations, and cloud‑based extensions for SAP environments. Local candidates are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement solutions using SAP BTP services and tools.
- Build and manage extensions on SAP BTP for SAP S/4
HANA and other SAP applications. - Develop and maintain integrations between SAP and non‑SAP systems using BTP Integration Suite.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Configure and support services such as Cloud Foundry, Integration Suite, API Management, and Fiori applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity, and integration issues.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience working with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and cloud‑based integrations.
- Experience supporting SAP S/4
HANA environments and extension frameworks. - Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, SAP Extension Suite, and Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration patterns, and cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
