ETL architect with Google Cloud
Work From Office (5 days/week) (USA):
San Jose, CA / Mountain View, CA (locals)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ETL architect with Google Cloud as the core platform. The candidate will develop ETL pipelines, architect scalable, efficient, and secure ETL solutions for data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient ETL architectures to support data warehousing and analytics.
- Evaluate and recommend ETL tools, technologies, and platforms based on business needs.
- Define data integration strategies, data quality standards, and metadata management processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Lead the development of ETL pipelines, workflows, and orchestration using tools like Informatica, Talend, Data Stage, Apache, and Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Optimize performance of ETL jobs and SQL queries for large-scale data volumes.
- 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including:
- Apache Beam
- Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
