Project Manager; Onsite

Position: Project Manager (Onsite)
Critical Mass is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are a strong communicator who can navigate complexity, build relationships, and drive projects forward from initiation through completion.

This position requires full on-site attendance, five days per week, at the Barreal office (Heredia, Zona Franca Metropolitana).

You will:

* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initiation through completion.

* Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery.

* Facilitate project meetings, drive discussions, document decisions, and ensure follow-through on action items.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining clear communication with internal teams and clients.

* Manage project scope and proactively address changes, risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

* Track project health through budget management, timeline adherence, resource allocation, and overall progress reporting.

* Coordinate cross-functional teams including Strategy, Creative, Technology, QA, Production, and Account Management.

* Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible to all stakeholders.

* Support project intake, scoping, estimation, and resource planning activities.

* Prepare and communicate regular project status updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

* Partner with clients to understand objectives, align expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes.

* Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, workflows, and team collaboration.

* Support project reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a high standard of quality.

* Contribute to a positive team environment and support the development of project delivery best practices.

You have:

* 3-5+ years of project management experience, preferably within digital, creative, marketing, agency, consulting, or technology environments.

* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

* Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and delivery frameworks.

* Experience managing project budgets, timelines, scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.

* Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

* Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

* Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have:

* Experience working on digital, marketing, media, technology, or customer experience projects.

* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.es.

* Agency experience working with global or enterprise-level clients.
