JD: We are seeking a smart and engaged Data Scientist to work with our large data sets. As an intelligence connection & search-product oriented firm you can imagine the amount of data we re uncovering

We need your help developing advanced mathematical and statistical models to map data and deliver web analytics.

Our product is widely utilized but is perhaps most useful in an academic and / or research capacity.

• Work with large data sets to develop advanced mathematical and statistical models to map data and deliver web analytics.
• Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques to data science problems.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and NLP models.
• Build models that maximize performance and accuracy.
• Engage in strategic planning and project management related to data science initiatives.
• Develop code in Python, R, and SQL (and other object‑oriented languages) for modeling, optimization, simulation, and statistical analysis.

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Minimum required skills: R, Python, SQL, Hadoop, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Mining.
• Experience with data modeling, pattern recognition, and statistical techniques.
