Mobile QA Engineer – Ads Platform

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile QA Engineer to support testing efforts for a consumer-facing Ads platform. This role focuses on manual mobile testing across iOS and Android applications, with a strong emphasis on QA fundamentals, test planning, and end-to-end validation.

The ideal candidate brings a thoughtful testing mindset, strong experience in mobile QA, and comfort testing applications used by external consumers and clients.

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications (no scripting or automation required)
• Create and execute end-to-end test plans and test strategies
• Write, maintain, and execute detailed test cases
• Validate features across iOS and Android platforms
• Perform Firebase-based testing and validation
• Test APIs and backend interactions using tools such as Postman
• Support debugging and traffic inspection using tools like Charles Proxy
• Partner closely with engineering and product teams to identify, document, and track defects
• Ensure high-quality releases for external consumer/client-facing applications

• 5–7 years of experience in Mobile QA
• Strong hands‑on experience with mobile application testing
• Must have experience in either iOS or Android
• Team requirement includes one iOS-focused QA and one Android-focused QA
• Solid understanding of QA concepts, testing principles, and test methodologies
• Experience with:
  Manual testing (no automation/scripting)
• Test planning and execution
• Writing comprehensive test cases
• Android Studio (basic experience)
• Postman
• Charles Proxy
• Firebase testing
• Experience testing consumer‑facing applications
