Responsibilities

Work on foundational models, including multimodality pretraining, multimodal large language models, image generation, and video generation, to support GenAI and content understanding.
Integrate recommendation large models and multimodal large models with the Agentic Rec framework to reshape content distribution logic and enable deep semantic association and autonomous planning capabilities.
Address challenges such as gradient convergence, representation drift in ultra-long behavioral sequences, and enabling logical reasoning capabilities.
Explore alignment across video, image-text content, and user intent to construct a fully multimodal semantic space that goes beyond text.
Develop recommendation agents with self-reflection, tool invocation, and long-horizon planning to transform recommendation and content distribution experiences.
Drive research and develop novel algorithms for extreme-scale reasoning, multimodal fusion, and autonomous evolution.
Deliver state-of-the-art research outputs and contribute to business metric gains in recommendation performance and system efficiency.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or related field (completed or completing).

Experience in computer vision, natural language processing, or machine learning.

Solid knowledge and experience with a major deep learning framework such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, MXNet, or Caffe.

Familiarity with deep neural-network architectures such as transformer, SSM, CNN, RNN, LSTM, etc.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related fields.

Authors with publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR.

Job Information

Base salary range: $212,800 - $450,000 annually.
