The opportunityJoin our EY Assurance service line within the FSO (Financial Services Office) Labs team, where we develop advanced technologies in AI, automation, and data analytics for the financial services industry. You will join a group of experienced professionals with deep technology expertise and business understanding, bridging the gap between cutting‑edge AI technology and actionable audit technology.
Your key responsibilitiesAs a Kubernetes Dev Ops Engineer, you are responsible for designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) to ensure scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters, building CI/CD pipelines, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and optimizing performance on Azure cloud environment.
- Design and manage container orchestration platforms for AI applications.
- Combine development, operations, and security responsibilities to ensure applications run smoothly on Azure.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure management and application developers.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, accounting, finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years in Dev Ops or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Proficiency in enterprise integration design patterns, microservices architecture, and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment.
- At least 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Dev Ops, and Azure Storage.
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Bicep or ARM templates.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops Pipelines;
Git Ops experiences considered a plus. - Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
- Strong scripting skills in Power Shell, Python, or Bash for automation and tooling; skills considered a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services such as Azure Storage accounts, Azure Functions, and AKS.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and implement secure, scalable infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable scripts and automation tools in Power Shell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Git Ops workflows using tools like Argo CD or Flux CD.
- Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning in cloud environments.

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary range $102,500–$187,900 (US) and adjusted ranges for certain metros. Includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and generous paid time off.
