Job Title
SAP PP ECC Consultant
Job SummaryAcrostaff is seeking an experienced SAP PP ECC Consultant to work on‑site in Alviso, CA. The role focuses on configuring, implementing, and integrating SAP PP and IM modules within SAP ECC 6.0, while collaborating with other functional areas.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) modules, including integration with MM and WM.
- Handle Production Orders, Goods Issues/Receipts, Subcontracting Processes, Stock Transfers, Batch Handling, Cycle Counting, and related operational tasks.
- Analyze business processes, advise stakeholders on improvement opportunities, and recommend efficient SAP solutions.
- Integrate SAP with non‑SAP tools and partners using EDI and IDOC; implement custom RICEF solutions and manage Change Management processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (MM, WM, SD, BW) to architect integrated solutions across SAP modules.
- Support and enhance reporting through SAP BW, SAP HANA, and other analytics tools.
- Provide expertise on additional SAP tools (Portals, Ariba, APO, GTS, SRM) and third‑party label printing solutions.
- 8+ years of hands‑on SAP ECC 6.0 experience with a primary focus on PP and IM modules.
- Experience with MM and WM integration; data integration with non‑SAP systems via EDI and IDOC.
- In‑depth knowledge of SAP PP/IM configuration and its integration with other functional areas (MM, WM, SD, BW).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Experience with RICEF and Change Management processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and mentor junior team members.
- BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or BE + MBA (desired).
- Experience with SAP BW/HANA reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP Portals, Ariba, APO, GTS, and SRM.
- Knowledge of third‑party label printing solutions.
Location:
Alviso, CA (on‑site). Max rate: $75/hr (C2C). Experience required: 8+ years.
