WiFi MAC Architect

Requirements Must have:

• We require a Ph.D. with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an M.S. with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• We need strong command of WLAN standards across multiple generations, including advanced specifications such as 802.11az and 802.11bf.
• We expect deep expertise in wireless LAN protocols and broader networking protocol knowledge.
• We are looking for extensive hands‑on experience in WiFi MAC architecture design and software implementation for wireless protocols.
• We value a proven track record of diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex real‑world system and application issues.
• We seek demonstrated technical leadership in WiFi AP/STA system development.
• We require strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across hardware, software, PHY, systems, and product functions.
• We prefer a team‑focused professional who can thrive in a fast‑moving, global engineering environment.

• We will have you collaborate closely with our WiFi and Bluetooth teams to define MAC architecture and implementation approaches.
• You will participate in and monitor IEEE 802.11 MAC standardization activities, including Wi‑Fi Alliance feature requirements and test procedures.
• You will shape MAC architecture for current and future WiFi generations, including hardware/software functional partitioning, PHY interface definition, and Bluetooth coexistence design.
• You will define software architecture and provide technical direction to our software development team.
• You will develop and refine efficient MAC verification frameworks and methodologies.
• You will analyze complex technical challenges and deliver practical solutions for product deployment.
• You will contribute technical recommendations for product development, system architecture, and long‑term technology roadmap planning.
• You will act as a technical leader and subject matter expert in WiFi MAC architecture and protocol implementation.
