Responsibilities

About the team:
The mission of the Seed Speech team is to enrich interactive and creative processes through the application of multimodal speech technologies. The team focuses on the forefront of research and product development in speech, audio, music, natural language understanding, and multimodal deep learning.

• Support research and development of foundation models and systems.
• Experiment with model improvements and evaluation methods.
• Implement algorithms, models, or system components.
• Collaborate with team members on research and engineering tasks.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong coding skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms, proficient in Python or C/C++.
• Experience with machine learning or related areas through coursework, projects, or internships.

• Demonstrated research track record with publications in conferences related to speech, audio, multimodal learning, or machine learning.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern. The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45 - $45.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
