Our mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for Tik Tok through data science.

• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with our ads products
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities
• Inform, influence, support, and execute product decisions
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products
• Mine massive amounts of data and extract useful product insights
• Manage development of data resources, gather requirements, organize sources, and support product launches

• Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience doing quantitative analysis
  • BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field; advanced degrees preferred but not required
  • Fluency in SQL or other programming languages; some development experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.)
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Ability to communicate analysis results clearly and effectively
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis
  • Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $179,200 - $292,600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
