We are seeking an IT Manager to join a dynamic team. This individual will develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the company’s business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. The candidate will oversee projects and assignments within the department and manage all aspects of the IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and user support.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a strong customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately support the company’s computing,data processing, and communications needs.
• Oversee the performance of the existing technology stack, implement proactive solutions to address any issues and enhance system reliability and uptime.
• Develop strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
• Maintain, upgrade, and optimize office IT systems, networking, physical security system, hardware, and software.
• Proactively monitor and address potential system issues to ensure uninterrupted performance.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Ensure seamless integration between platforms and user accessibility.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance application security, performance, and user experience.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and cost-effective.
• Proactively evaluate vendor solutions to optimize IT investments.
• Lead initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with networking, server management (Windows, Linux, etc.), and virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, SAP)
• Proficiency in cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with IT monitoring tools, backup solutions, and IT support management platforms.
• Familiarity with database management, storage systems, and disaster recovery solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and be a positive change agent
• Startup mentality that is agile and willing to experiment
• Help build a world-class organization and be part of a high-performing team.
• Deep knowledge of IT security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
• Superior understanding of information technology and information technology systems.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is highly desirable due to frequent communication with teams across regions.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology required.
• 5+ years of experience in administration of information systems and technology, with an increasing level of responsibility
