We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in detecting, investigating, and preventing cyber threats, ensuring our systems and those of our clients remain secure.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor network activity to identify potential security breaches or threats.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift mitigation and resolution.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.
- Analyze security alerts and logs from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement and maintain security tools and technologies.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Perform regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and techniques to proactively protect assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
- Proficiency in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud security in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in cybersecurity is a plus.
