A well-funded, fast-moving cybersecurity platform company — backed by one of the most recognised names in enterprise security — is hiring its first dedicated BDR in the United States. The product solves a problem every large enterprise security team has but rarely admits: they have the tools, they just cannot see what those tools are collectively telling them. The platform changes that, agentlessly, in minutes, without replacing a single thing already in place.
You will work directly with the founding team. You will carry a quota, own your pipeline, and represent the company at industry conferences where the buyers you are targeting already show up. This is not a warm-inbound role. It is outbound-first, relationship-led, aimed at CISOs and senior security decision-makers at global enterprises — and it comes with the access, the equity, and the urgency that a 25-person company at the start of something real can offer.
Whatwill you do
- Generate qualified meetings with CISOs, security architects, and enterprise security decision-makers
- Execute outbound prospecting across email, Linked In, phone, and in-person channels
- Build and manage prospecting campaigns and follow-up strategies — from scratch
- Develop personalised outreach that resonates with senior executives, not generic sequences
- Represent the company at cybersecurity conferences and executive events
- Partner directly with the CEO and GTM leadership on strategic account engagement
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM
- 2–4 years of BDR or SDR experience in enterprise cybersecurity or adjacent enterprise software
- Genuine comfort engaging senior executives — not just emailing them
- Conference-ready: you have worked a room before and know how to convert a conversation
- Bay Area-based or committed to relocating
- Self-directed: you want to build, not just execute
- Experience in cybersecurity, AI security, or enterprise software
- Familiarity with cloud, identity, or endpoint security markets
- Track record attending RSA, Black Hat, or similar industry events
