We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Financial Services domain to lead complex initiatives across banking, capital markets, or financial technology programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing end-to-end project life cycles, stakeholder engagement, and delivery within regulatory and compliance-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple financial services projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans in alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA, compliance, and operations.
• Drive regulatory, compliance, and risk management initiatives (e.g., KYC, AML, SOX, Basel, Dodd-Frank, T+1).
• Manage stakeholder communications, status reporting, and executive updates.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project governance.
• Utilize Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies depending on project needs.
• Ensure alignment with financial domain standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Overall
  
  Experience:
  
  8–12+ years in IT/Business Project Management.
• Domain Expertise:
  Strong background in Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, Wealth Management, or Insurance.
• Proven experience leading financial technology or digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, ISO, GDPR).
• Proficiency in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent skills in project planning tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications.
• Experience working with financial platforms (trading, portfolio management, clearing & settlement, or risk systems).
• Exposure to cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, GCP) in the financial sector.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven projects (data governance, analytics, BI, regulatory reporting).
