Technical Project Manager

Note:

Look for someone with Telco background and experience on application development/engineering side.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across all projects
• Ensure that project deliverables can be integrated to become the overall result (product, service) and are fit to deliver the expected benefits
• Maintain the client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the project (ie: status reporting, issues management, and risk management) ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Utilize both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to tailor project approaches based on specific project requirements and goals.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Support the development of internal processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of technical project management experience
• Previous project management experience with application development and engineering projects
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Consulting experience – the ability to hit the ground running as a Technical Project Manager
• Deep knowledge in all phases of the technology project lifecycle including the identification of the business problem, business case, and project plan development through project management, financial management and closeout
• An ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong technical background with a good understanding of software development and IT infrastructure. Preferred technology exposure - React/Angular.js/Node.js/Mysql/Relational DB
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
