Marketing Technology Specialist
We are seeking a technically skilled Marketing Technology Specialist to support the execution and optimization of email automation and event technology platforms, with a focus on Marketo, Cvent, and ON24. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and enhancing marketing campaigns and event workflows across these systems, ensuring seamless integration of Marketing Technology tools and high-quality data capture. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with marketing automation and event platforms, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmail Automation and Campaign Execution
- Build, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns using Marketo
- Develop and manage automated nurture programs, lead scoring models, and segmentation strategies
- Design and implement dynamic content, personalization, and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize results
Event Technology Management (Cvent and ON24)
- Configure and manage event technology platforms including Cvent (in-person and hybrid events) and ON24 (webinars and virtual events)
- Build and maintain event registration pages, conference apps, workflows, and attendee journeys
- Manage integrations and data flows between Cvent, ON24, Marketo, and Salesforce
- Support live event execution, including troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a seamless attendee experience
Systems Integration and Data Management
- Maintain and support integrations between Marketo, Salesforce, Cvent, and ON24
- Ensure accurate data synchronization, campaign attribution, and lead lifecycle tracking
- Support segmentation and targeting strategies for campaigns and events
- Partner with Data Stewards to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
Process Optimization and Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing automation workflows and event technology utilization
- Implement best practices for campaign execution, event tracking, and reporting
- Stay current with platform updates and new capabilities across Marketo, Cvent, and ON24
Reporting and Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track campaign and event performance
- Analyze engagement metrics, attendance, conversion rates, and ROI
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness
Training and Enablement
- Train marketing and business teams on best practices for using Marketo, Cvent, and ON24
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and user guides
- Serve as a subject matter expert for email automation and event technology platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms
- Hands-on experience with Cvent and/or ON24 for event and webinar management
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and marketing-to-sales data flows
- Experience building automated campaigns, email programs, and event workflows
- Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data synchronization across marketing technologies
- Experience with email optimization, segmentation, and A/B testing
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customization preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
