About the Opportunity

Our client, a leader in Enterprise Cloud Technology, is looking for a skilled Learning Technologist to join their team for a 6‑month engagement. This project involves acting as the primary administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their core learning systems (LMS), leading new system enhancements, ensuring system security and integrations, and supporting the ongoing delivery of corporate training programs. This is a high‑impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
  • System Administration & SME:
Act as the primary administrator and SME for enterprise learning systems (LMS), providing advice on system capabilities and design options for new projects and ongoing enhancements.
  • Project Leadership & Enhancements:
Lead new enhancements and projects for learning systems, including the design, build, and testing of system integrations with support from engineering or vendor teams.
  • System Integrity & Testing:
Define/write test cases, execute unit and functional testing, and support UAT testing to ensure system stability and functionality.
  • Content and Security Management:
Design, set up, and manage systems security, user permissions, and LMS permissions for training administrators. Create/edit courses, sessions, surveys, and learning paths.
  • Support and Reporting:
Develop learning system reports and metrics (e.g., surveys, enrollments, learning paths). Triage and resolve technical issues and defects via the ticketing system, escalating to vendors as needed.
Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within Learning Technologies, GRC, or IT systems administration.
  • Deep expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and managing system configuration, security, and permissions. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to build/test systems integrations, resolve technical defects, and support new feature rollouts.
  • Experience with defining test cases, executing testing (unit, functional, UAT), and documenting tool functionality based on new builds.
  • Strong communication skills and experience developing custom reports and metrics for leadership.
  • W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
