Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer

Adobe is looking for a UNIX Administrator with strong technical, process, and automation skills to join the High‑Performance Cloud Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily administration of Linux and Unix servers, ensuring the overall operability, resiliency, performance, and capacity of production services.

• Day‑to‑day administration of all Linux-based servers: monitoring the trouble ticket queue, performing system fixes, handling hardware and software changes, scripting, patching, performance monitoring, sizing, integration, upgrade implementation, and hardware diagnostics.
• Application support: work with application administrators to troubleshoot and fine‑tune applications and guide them on standard processes using the underlying UNIX infrastructure.
• Documentation: maintain all system documentation.
• Provide scripts and automation to streamline deployments and manage configurations.

• In‑depth experience with Unix/Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE) for installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Demonstrable ability to perform Unix builds such as RHEL Networking.
• Solid grasp of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, etc.) and system connectivity.
• Working knowledge of virtual machine management (VMware, Open Shift).
• Expertise in system security – user access controls, OS hardening, patch management, and compliance.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform is beneficial.

U.S. pay range: $132,100 – $250,875 annually (may vary by location and experience). In California, the range is $173,300 – $250,875.
