What we are looking for?

We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in functional and automated testing, responsible for ensuring the functional and technical quality of the solutions developed through the planning, design, execution, and follow-up of tests throughout the development cycle.

The person will contribute to the delivery of reliable SaaS solutions, ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria, traceability of deliverables, and early detection of defects, working collaboratively with Development, Product, and Business teams.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Systems, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience executing functional and integration manual tests
• Experience in designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience in performance testing
• Experience in test automation using Selenium, Rest Assured, and Java
• Experience performing API tests and validation of REST services
• Handling of Jira and Confluence for test management and documentation
• Knowledge in defect lifecycle management
• Experience ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
• Experience working under agile methodologies like Scrum
• Intermediate level of English (B1)

Desired Qualifications

• Experience using Postman for API testing
• Experience performing tests in SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes applied to quality assurance
• Handling of Git for version control
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops Pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Experience integrating automated tests within deployment pipelines
• Experience in Retail sector projects

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to define test strategies and scenarios
• Design, document, and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance test cases
• Validate business processes, functional rules, and data quality in SaaS platforms
• Execute manual tests and contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated tests
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including registration, follow-up, validation, and closure
• Ensure traceability between user stories, test cases, and defects throughout the development cycle
• Document QA evidence, results, and artifacts according to established standards
• Coordinate testing activities with Development, Product, Business, QA teams, and suppliers
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes together with business areas
• Identify quality-related risks and propose preventive and corrective actions
• Perform effort estimates for testing activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and quality assurance standards
