Meet the Team

The Commerce Product Management team is at the heart of Cisco’s digital transformation, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience to drive sustainable, global growth. As a Program Manager, you will serve as the driving force behind the execution of complex, cross-functional programs, bridging the gap between strategic product vision and operational reality. We are a fast-paced, collaborative group of innovators dedicated to building a world-class commerce ecosystem, where we prioritize technical rigor, creative problem-solving, and a relentless customer-first mindset to ensure our initiatives are delivered with precision and alignment with Cisco’s broader business goals.

Your Impact

In this role, you will act as the central architect for program success, guiding cross-functional initiatives from initial strategy to final implementation. You will lead the charge in defining program scopes and success metrics, translating high-level product visions into actionable project plans that optimize resources and mitigate risks. By fostering deep collaboration between engineering, product, and business teams, you will ensure that every deliverable is aligned with our core business priorities.

Beyond execution, you will champion operational excellence by analyzing business processes to identify innovation opportunities, automating tasks, and driving continuous improvement in our methodologies. Your ability to communicate status and risks effectively to leadership, while navigating complex dependencies, will be instrumental in delivering value and ensuring our commerce platform remains a catalyst for Cisco’s growth.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years of professional experience in program management, project management, or a related operational role within a technical or complex business environment;
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Asana, or similar) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI) to track metrics and report status.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in a global, matrixed organization (specifically within B2B SaaS, commerce, or digital storefront ecosystems).
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in technical or complex business environments with a strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with API-led architectures, modern software development life cycles (SDLC), and business process automation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS) or equivalent practical experience in program management, product strategy, or business operations.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or CSM/SAFe (Certified Scrum Master/Scaled Agile Framework) certifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to balance program execution with strategic product insights.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and business needs.
  • Experience in supporting change management, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
  • Experience in participating in market research and data analysis to inform program decisions.
