Senior Systems Engineer; Cloud​/Infrastructure

Our client is seeking senior-level engineers who thrive in complex, high-stakes environments where automation handles the routine—and you solve what others cannot. This is a hands-on role operating at the intersection of cloud-scale infrastructure, Linux systems, and advanced hardware environments.

You will engage directly with leadership, operate under pressure, and function at a Level 3+ support depth—owning the most challenging issues from root cause through resolution.

• Deep Linux Expertise:
  Strong understanding of Linux internals; highly effective in terminal-based environments
• Advanced Troubleshooting:
  Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system, hardware, and networking issues without escalation
• Infrastructure & Hardware Acumen:
  Experience with server-class hardware, provisioning, and systems-level interactions
• Cloud / Neocloud
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven experience operating in modern cloud or large-scale distributed environments
• Large-Scale GPU Environments:
  Exposure to or hands-on experience with GPU-based infrastructure or emerging high-performance compute platforms
• Networking & Systems Fundamentals:
  Ability to quickly distinguish between hardware, firmware, and network-related failures
• Programming Proficiency:
  Strong working knowledge of at least one language (Python, Go, or similar) for automation and problem-solving
• Strong EQ & Composure:
  Operates effectively under pressure, demonstrating sound judgment, resilience, and the ability to collaborate with leadership
• Communication Excellence:
  Clear, concise communicator capable of influencing outcomes across technical and executive stakeholders

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical mastery of computer science fundamentals)
