Pay for the Operations Data Analyst is $72,800 per year at this location.
About the RoleThe Operations Data Analyst is responsible for extracting valuable insights from datasets, driving data‑driven decision‑making, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the business. Using data, the person in this role will work to identify business opportunities and collaborate on business strategies to improve pricing, margins, sales, and overall customer profitability.
In this role, you will:- Conduct comprehensive analyses of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights in alignment with business strategy.
- Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, or data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use data to assist with developing customer and product segment strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing or facilitating data quality controls, validating data sources, and resolving data inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define data requirements, understand business needs, and provide analytical support.
- Translate business questions into data‑driven analyses and actionable recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data analysis and data management.
- Identify opportunities for innovation or process improvement.
- Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
- Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering analytical insights.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related technology field or relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of products sold at profit center preferred.
- Possess a solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies.
- Have experience with Eclipse, as well as with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Have a keen attention to detail and a curiosity to explore and uncover insights from data.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Possess the strong interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Have demonstrated leadership skills to mentor and guide junior analysts and be influential in driving data initiatives within the organization.
- Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
- Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain customer and vendor contact files, appointments and to analyze performance data.
- Be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
