Responsibilities
As Monetization Product Operations (MPO), our goal is to help businesses have seamless experiences with our advertising solutions by designing and scaling support processes to resolve technical issues within our product. The Signals & API TPS team is a highly specialized, global unit. We act as the critical bridge connecting in-market Sales, top-tier Advertisers, and our global Product & Engineering teams.
We own the technical health, troubleshooting, and implementation support for Tik Tok's most critical monetization pillars:
Web Signals (Pixel, Events API), App Signals (SDKs, MMPs), and Marketing/Organic APIs.
What we're looking for:
Tik Tok seeks a Technical Product Specialist to provide both pre and post-sales implementation and advertising support to Tik Tok's top advertisers. Candidate needs to balance customer service with technical know-how and specialize in Signals/Measurement and API monetization product pillars using their expertise to assist businesses with product issues. Sitting within the Monetization Product Operations team, the role involves close collaboration with in-market sales and product teams within a high-growth environment.
An ability to self-motivate, prioritize and influence partners are key skills. Candidates must have experience working with digital advertising, web and app signals as well as hands-on experience implementing technology.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Troubleshooting & Support:
Handle and resolve complex, end-to-end pre- and post-sales technical queries regarding Tik Tok's Web Signals (Pixel, Events API/CAPI), App Signals (SDKs), and 3rd-Party (3P) Attribution/MMP integrations. - Cross-Functional Bridge:
Act as the primary technical liaison between local Sales/Account teams and global Product & Engineering teams. Translate advertiser issues into clear, actionable bug reports and product feedback. - API & Config Diagnostics:
Navigate and troubleshoot API payloads, server-to-server event configurations, deduplication errors, and integration setups using browser developer tools, network logs, and API testing tools. - Sales & Partner Enablement:
Partner with upstream technical specialists to educate sales teams and advertisers on signal health, product features, and common integration issues. - Operational Excellence:
Adhere to strict SLAs, drive high customer satisfaction (CSAT), manage escalation workflows, and proactively identify opportunities to scale support through automated workflows or documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript), SQL, XML, and HTTP protocols (OR) Customer-facing experience as a Technical Consultant, Support, Engineer, or Product Manager, working with internal/external customers
- Analytical experience solving problems using data and providing actionable product insights
- Experience operating within support ticketing platforms (Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce)
- Fluency in one of the following languages:
Portuguese, Spanish, or Mandarin, is required to communicate effectively with advertisers, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders in the corresponding regional market where the role provides support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Ad tech/digital technology fields
- Experience driving technical implementation with advertising/software products working directly with clients technical teams.
- Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Marketing Managers, Product Managers and Sales.
