Data Center Manager job  Jose, CA. Cognizant is seeking a Data Center Manager for a full-time opportunity in San Jose, CA. This is an onsite role and will require the candidate to work from the office.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 to $133,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Applications will be accepted until 6/24/2025. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

• Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks
• Decommissioning and Disposal

• Knowledge/skill in installation and configuration of hardware components such as servers, routers, and switches
• Installation and upgrade of IOS, OS, ESXi
• Help to replicate or build configurations based on customer requirement
• Installation and networking of Managed Power Distribution Unites (mPDUs)
• Intra and Inter lab equipment and rack moves
• Cable management, including running, organizing, topology clean-up, and labelling network cables
• Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks
• Conduct basic diagnostics to identify hardware issues
• Network debugging, tracking layer 1 to 3 issues
• Router, Switch, installation and Upgrade experience is must
• Rack & stack, PDU installation experience is must
• Should have experience in labelling inventory tracking for components and devices inside Data Center
