Impact of this Role

This critical role ensures operational excellence by supporting the entire organization, maintaining IT asset integrity, and upholding security standards through diligent user account governance. It manages the end-to-end technical lifecycle of all employees (onboarding and offboarding), acts as the central gatekeeper for support requests, and performs essential administration of key systems like Google Workspace, Hub Spot, Claude, the Atlassian Suite, Slack, and 1

Password. The administrator will also drive efficiency by seeking to automate internal workflows and providing essential technical support and training across the company. This position reports to the Director of IT & Info Sec and works closely with other members of the IT Department.

A Day in the Life
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for incoming support requests, triaging tickets, assigning appropriate priority (High, Medium, or Low), and distributing tasks for resolution.
  • Respond to, assist with, and work on incoming support requests from employees.
  • Manage the technical onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all necessary equipment and software.
  • Execute the technical offboarding process for departing employees, including revoking access to all company systems and coordinating the secure retrieval and disposal of assets.
  • Perform asset management, including maintaining a comprehensive inventory of company hardware and managing the hardware lifecycle and refresh program.
  • Maintain and govern user accounts and access levels across the company's technology stack, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege and organizational security policies.
  • Collaborate with department teams to understand their requirements and help design and implement solutions that meet their needs.
  • Support the IT Department and other IT Administrators through cross‑training.

What You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in an IT Administrator or equivalent role.
  • Experience with Python programming language or a desire and ability to learn.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and automated ticketing workflows.
