Senior Interaction Designer, Laptops and Tablets Managed and Admin Experiences

Google is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to focus on laptops and tablets managed and admin experiences. You will transform complex tasks into intuitive, easy-to-use experiences and collaborate with engineering and product teams to evolve the design language and create industry-leading products.

At Google, we focus on the user and all else will follow. You will join a multi-disciplinary UX team and work with design partners to build beautiful, innovative products. You will apply user-centered design methods from concept to execution, producing user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

US salary: $159,000 – $231,000 per year, with bonus target, equity, and benefits. Location preferences include San Jose, CA;
Kirkland, WA;
San Francisco, CA, and other eligible US locations per policy.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high-fidelity prototypes.
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
• Advocate for prioritizing design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.
• Portfolio, website, or relevant link included in resume with viewable access instructions.

• Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• 2 years of experience leading design projects.
