Change Management, IT Project Manager, Business Systems & Technology Analysis
Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract with Strong Potential for Extension or Conversion
Pay rate: $60/hour+ DOE
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise procurement transformation initiatives focused on procurement orchestration, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions. In this role, you will manage complex cross-functional projects from planning through execution, partnering with business and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency and drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new Procurement Orchestration platform, driving project execution from initiation through successful delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and project documentation.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings, executive status updates, steering committee meetings, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, IT, Finance, Legal, and external implementation partners to ensure alignment across all work streams.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change requests while maintaining focus on key deliverables and implementation timelines.
- Coordinate vendor activities and maintain strong relationships with implementation partners to ensure project success.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational change management throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Monitor project health, identify risks proactively, and develop mitigation plans to keep the program on schedule.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, project dashboards, and status communications for senior leadership.
- Ensure successful transition into production while supporting adoption and post-implementation stabilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of project or program management experience leading enterprise technology or business transformation projects.
- Experience delivering procurement transformation, procurement technology, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
Preferred
- Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), procurement orchestration, or enterprise procurement platforms.
- Experience implementing AI/GenAI-enabled solutions or workflow automation technologies.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification is a plus.
