What You’ll DoProgram Leadership:
Vendor Management
Set the operating model for how we work with server manufacturers, hardware vendors, and maintenance providers: service expectations, ownership models, escalation paths, and performance metrics. Run the cadence of business and operational reviews that hold vendors to those metrics, and lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans when systemic hardware issues show up. When repairs stall, quality slips, or service gaps appear, you’re the one driving vendors to resolution, not absorbing the work yourself.
Partner with engineering, supply chain, and data center ops so spare parts and repair readiness planning stays ahead of need, and lead the operational readiness plan for new server platforms coming online, including high density GPU systems.
Infrastructure Software
Own the program plan for the software that keeps the server lifecycle running: provisioning, OS install, firmware, hardware validation, monitoring, repair workflows, decommissioning, data sanitization. Translate operational pain points into scoped projects with milestones and acceptance criteria, then coordinate the software engineers, production systems engineers, and platform teams actually building it. Track progress, risk, and dependencies across the roadmap, run project reviews, and make the calls that unblock delivery when teams disagree on priority.
Define the metrics that prove the work mattered (automation coverage, ticket reduction, deployment quality) and drive the documentation, release readiness, and handoff standards the org runs on. You’ll also help set the direction for how AI assisted tooling gets adopted into infrastructure operations.
Strategic Infrastructure
Build and own the execution plan for data center decommissioning, server migration, new site delivery, and hardware reuse programs, coordinating the engineering, operations, and vendor teams who carry out the physical work. Structure the plan for server relocation, asset retirement, and data erasure work streams across regions, and step in to lead urgent infrastructure initiatives when a program needs stronger leadership to get unstuck.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technical program management, infrastructure operations, hardware engineering, data center operations, or enterprise software delivery.
- Track record leading complex, cross-functional technical programs (not just contributing to them).
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build structured project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, ownership, and success metrics.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working understanding of infrastructure architecture, operational workflows, and engineering trade-offs, enough to ask sharp questions and challenge assumptions, not necessarily to build the systems yourself.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Experience running multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
- Comfort driving accountability and progress when ownership is unclear or priorities conflict.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience with server manufacturers, hardware vendors, or third-party data center service providers.
- Background in server fleet management, data center infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with server provisioning, Linux, firmware, BMC management, hardware diagnostics, or break-fix operations (enough to speak the language, not to do the work).
- Experience managing software or automation projects involving APIs, workflow platforms, or monitoring/infrastructure management tools.
- Experience with GPU servers, high density computing, or AI infrastructure programs.
- Knowledge of hardware lifecycle processes: NPI, deployment, maintenance, migration, decommissioning, sanitization, reuse.
- Experience defining operational KPIs, SLAs, and vendor scorecards.
- Experience working…
