AI Site Reliability Engineer
Location – Remote
- Occasional Travel to RTP, NC or San Jose, CA Contract & FTE Both

Job Description:
· 5-10 years of experience in engineering, Dev Ops, platform operations, or IT support.
· Hands on experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, or similar coding assistants.
· Experience with Linux/Unix administration and Python or Bash scripting for automation.
· Familiarity with Git Hub, Git workflows, and common developer tools.
· Understanding of REST APIs and ability to use them for queries or reporting tasks.
· Strong communication skills, especially working directly with developers, gathering requirements, and supporting adoption.
· Administer, configure, and support AI Code Assistant tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, Codex), including onboarding, policy configuration, usage insights, and troubleshooting.
· Driving vendor collaboration for successful product and feature rollouts
· Build automation scripts (Python or Bash) to streamline reporting, data collection, and platform operations.
· Assist with basic Dev Ops platform tasks related to Git Hub Enterprise, Git Hub Actions, and similar tools.
· Monitor usage patterns, adoption metrics, and performance of AI developer tools.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning using configuration management tools
· Provide clear documentation, FAQs, and quick start guides to help scale adoption across the enterprise.
· Escalate and collaborate with senior engineers on complex issues or platform enhancements.
· Support socialization and rollout efforts by partnering with developer teams
· Exposure to Dev Ops tools such as Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Artifactory.
· Experience with dashboards, data visualization, or usage metrics preferred.
· Basic understanding of cloud services or containerization (AWS, Docker, etc.) is a plus.
Interest in AI, developer productivity tooling, and automation frameworks.
