Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Healthcare
Immediate need for a talented Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Healthcare. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Jose, CA (Remote).
Pay Range: $62/hr - $65/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and healthcare-related projects.
- Coordinate multiple projects at once while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestone tracking using Microsoft Project.
- Create cost-benefit analyses, project dashboards, and executive-level status reports.
- Define project governance, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.
- Manage project financials, risks, issues, changes, and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, business partners, technical teams, and vendors.
- Translate technical components of the initiative for non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and cross-functional working sessions.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and SDLC-related deliverables.
- Build strong working relationships across organizational lines and with external partners.
- Support go-lives, after-hours work, and weekend activity as needed.
Experience:
- Stakeholder Communication
- Change Management
- Conflict Resolution
- 8+ years of project management experience.
- 5–10 years of related experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience managing complex technical or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Experience with SDLC and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and business presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple levels.
- Demonstrated experience in change management and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMP certification.
- Healthcare systems experience.
- Infrastructure project experience.
- WAN, LAN, or wireless project experience.
- UPS or facility technology project experience.
- Construction project experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare facilities or patient-facing environments.
- Waterfall project methodology experience.
