Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Healthcare

Immediate need for a talented Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Healthcare. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Jose, CA (Remote).

Pay Range: $62/hr - $65/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and healthcare-related projects.
  • Coordinate multiple projects at once while maintaining scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestone tracking using Microsoft Project.
  • Create cost-benefit analyses, project dashboards, and executive-level status reports.
  • Define project governance, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.
  • Manage project financials, risks, issues, changes, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, business partners, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Translate technical components of the initiative for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and cross-functional working sessions.
  • Support project documentation, reporting, and SDLC-related deliverables.
  • Build strong working relationships across organizational lines and with external partners.
  • Support go-lives, after-hours work, and weekend activity as needed.
Key Requirements and Technology

  • 8+ years of project management experience.
  • 5–10 years of related experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing complex technical or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with SDLC and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and business presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Healthcare systems experience.
  • Infrastructure project experience.
  • WAN, LAN, or wireless project experience.
  • UPS or facility technology project experience.
  • Construction project experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare facilities or patient-facing environments.
  • Waterfall project methodology experience.
