Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced security practitioners to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about real-world cybersecurity risk. Your expertise in vulnerability management, exposure analysis, and remediation will directly shape how AI understands and responds to security challenges faced by modern organizations. Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
- Assess severity, exploitability, and impact to classify and prioritize security risk
- Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios
- Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
- Apply your real-world judgment to help AI distinguish between theoretical risk and what actually matters in production environments
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
- Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (e.g., CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV)
- Strong understanding of the tradeoffs between theoretical risk and operational impact
- Analytical and structured thinker who can clearly articulate security reasoning
- Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
- Experience with exposure management platforms (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz)
- Background in cloud, endpoint, or application security
- Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows
- Experience writing security runbooks, risk assessments, or remediation guidance
- Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs
