Senior Cloud Security Engineer This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

• Partner withSRE, architecture, and application teams to implement security best practices and secure-by-design principlesin the cloud.
• Partners with multiple stakeholderstoplan,prioritize,andimprovesecurity initiativestomitigate riskstowards HPE networking cloud environments and assets.
• Collaborates with stakeholders such as engineering, product management, other security teams, programmanagersand partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, and support of cloud security engagements.
• Monitor and improve cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments,leveragingmetrics to drive improvements and governance.
• Support compliance activities, cloud threat detection, incident response investigations, and forensicinitiativesas needed.
• Representsthesecurityengineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members.
• Drives innovation and integration ofnew technologiesinto projects and activities in thenetworkingorganization.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Typically, 7-10 yearsofexperience.

• Strong programming skills inlanguagessuch as Python, Java,and JavaScript.
• Comfortable designing and implementing AI-assisted security controls.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. – United States of America:
Annual Salary USD 155, in California The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
