ADVANCE YOUR CAREER. ADVANCE THE WORLD.

At AMD, we believe technology can change lives for the better. It can heal us, entertain us, and make us more connected, productive, and understanding of the world around us. And we're looking for talent who feel the same: people who want to leave the planet better than they found it, those who don't shy away from humanity's challenges but are determined to help solve them.

AMD is powering the next generation of supercomputing, high-performance computing, cloud, and AI. Whether you're designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or creating go-to-market plans, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward.

THE TEAM

The AECG - Embedded Team builds and optimizes platforms for embedded and commercial applications, working across silicon, firmware, and software to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions at scale.

THE ROLE

AMD is seeking a RF Portfolio Product Line Manager to lead business, strategy, and product line ownership for our industry-leading Adaptive RF SoC products. This is a high-profile role with strong growth potential and compelling value propositions across key markets including Aerospace and Defense, SatCOM, Test and Measurement Equipment, and Wireless Infrastructure.

The Product Line Manager will define and drive product strategy, market positioning, customer engagement, new product introduction readiness, and go-to-market execution for the Versal RF Series portfolio and Zynq Ultra Scale+ RFSoC product line. This individual will work closely with customers, sales, field application engineers, vertical market teams, system architects, factory stakeholders, and cross-functional product teams to grow adoption and deliver business results.

THE

PERSON

The ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated product leader with strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and a solid technical foundation in RF, analog and DSP technologies. This individual brings strong customer focus, critical thinking, and the ability to engage credibly with highly technical customers and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, operate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams, and demonstrate the ability to translate customer requirements, market trends, and financial objectives into a cohesive and actionable product line strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and manage key aspects of new product introduction, working internally with factory stakeholders and externally with customers and global sales teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, market trends, competitive dynamics, and financial objectives, then synthesize those inputs into a clear product line strategy.
  • Prepare go-to-market plans and track progress against NPI goals.
  • Develop NPI device and board forecasts to support business planning, supply readiness, and customer engagement.
  • Prepare and present a compelling Adaptive SoC, software, and solution value proposition to field teams and customers, incorporating AMD's distinctive strengths.
  • Collaborate with sales, FAEs, vertical market business teams, and system architects to drive awareness of Versal portfolio hardware and software capabilities and demonstrate the value of these solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate Versal RF Series portfolio products, solutions and technologies to customers.
  • Support ongoing Zynq Ultra Scale+ RFSoC product line customers and requirements.
  • Support customer and field interactions, including travel as required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Strong understanding of RF and analog technology, including RF sampling data converters, DSP, RF and wireless systems, and embedded processing systems.
  • Experience with RF and analog manufacturing technology for packaging PCBs.
  • Proven semiconductor industry experience, preferably with sales, marketing, product management, or product line ownership exposure.
  • Strong technical and product line experience.
  • Demonstrated customer empathy, experience identifying customer needs, and understanding of customer-focused design practices.
  • Passion for winning and achieving challenging revenue,…
