Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Support
Pay Rate: $40 - 48 /hr on W2 (all inclusive)
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors
Top 3Skills:
- Basic Troubleshooting skills - servers, use of various cables connectors, Network and cooling systems.
- Basic Linux command experience
- Excellent Communication skills and technical inclination.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a Data Center.
- Experience with various types of cables connectors
- Basic experience with Linux commands
- Understanding of basic safety and security protocols
- Troubleshoot various server issues and isolate root causes.
- Order and install replacement parts in servers; return defective parts to vendors.
- Update server firmware to the latest version.
- Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers.
- Assist network administrators with server-related issues, including:
- Replacing broken or damaged cables.
- Re-routing cables to different server or switch ports.
- Replacing optics on server and switch ports.
- Upgrading and installing server components.
- Temporarily rack and stack servers or switches in cabinets and cable them for remote configuration by network admins.
- Respond to network admin requests for specific server or switch assistance.
