Job Overview:As a Manager Dev Ops at Tredence, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable AWS Dev Ops solutions tailored for the retail sector. Success in this role means effectively automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable cloud operations to accelerate business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive last-mile adoption of AI-enabled analytics.
This leadership role plays a critical part in enabling seamless deployment and operational efficiency across Tredence's retail client engagements.
- Lead the development and deployment of AWS-based Dev Ops infrastructure using Lambda, Cloud Watch, Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using AWS Cloud Watch and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into automated, scalable Dev Ops solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of Dev Ops engineers to build capabilities that align with best practices and organizational standards.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and maintain cloud resources efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvement of deployment processes, and ensure adherence to compliance and security standards.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 7-12 years of proven experience in AWS Dev Ops, especially with hands-on expertise in AWS Lambda, Cloud Watch, Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and implementation for cloud-native applications.
- Exhibit experience managing cloud infrastructure for retail or related industries, with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to drive project success.
Skills:
- Possess certifications such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Understand container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Have experience with infrastructure monitoring and ing tools beyond AWS Cloud Watch.
- Exhibit familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to retail technology.
- Demonstrate experience in software engineering practices to complement Dev Ops responsibilities.
