IT Support Specialist

Sittercity is seeking a part-time IT Support Specialist to help keep our online marketplace for families and caregivers running smoothly. In this role, you'll troubleshoot user and internal technical issues, support web and mobile applications, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bugs, document common fixes, and improve support processes. Ideal candidates bring strong problem-solving skills, experience with ticketing systems, basic SQL or log analysis, and a passion for delivering safe, reliable, and user-friendly technology for families.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Sittercity's web and mobile applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve user and internal IT issues via ticketing system
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers and developers
• Document issues, resolutions, and create knowledge base articles
• Monitor system performance and report recurring problems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to reproduce and diagnose bugs
• Support account access, basic configuration, and device connectivity
• Assist with testing new features and reporting defects
• Maintain high standards of customer service and timely follow-up
• Contribute ideas to improve tools, workflows, and user experience
