Responsibilities
Team Introduction:
Tik Tok Platforms are under the hood of the phenomenal short-video APP making sure our millions of users are always in a trusted, safe and secure cyber environment. The platform design team builds user interfaces and flows on top of the technologies so that our employees and external partners can better understand and use the technologies. For example, copyright platforms help right holders efficiently protect their original content from infringement;
Open Platform helps explain and connect APIs to integrate Tik Tok into other applications.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX writers, and engineers throughout the entire design lifecycle to deliver product experiences globally.
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform and validate design decisions.
- Partner with engineering teams during development handoff and post-launch phases to ensure design quality, usability, and technical accuracy.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning, continuously improve design processes, and promote cross-functional knowledge sharing through documentation and presentations.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications :
- 5+ years of UX design experience across business platforms including SaaS, PaaS, and web applications. Please send the portfolio link along with your application.
- Expertise in interaction design with strong prototyping skills using tools like Figma.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas, design rationale, and feedback.
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong ideation and iteration skills, with the ability to rapidly generate and evaluate multiple concepts.
- Results-driven and adaptable, with a proactive mindset suited to fast-paced, impact-focused startup environments.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing tight deadlines when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with and contributing to design systems (components, icons, typography, color palettes).
- Background in designing complex B2B applications, especially those addressing enterprise use cases.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
