As an IC CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the parasitic extraction flow and Cadence Virtuoso platform in a custom design environment  will work with CAD team members to verify existing setups for new technology enablement, collaborate with vendors to evaluate new features for deployment, and provide user support to meet design deliverable schedules. You will also enable AI agents across all CAD areas to speed up the design cycle and improve CAD tool user experience.

Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our custom CAD flows.

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, custom design, and verification in general. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers located across different sites and time zones. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are eager to learn, and ready to tackle challenges. You are passionate about improving processes and user experience through AI integration.

• Set up and maintain StarRC extraction across all design types, including 3
  
  DIC design
• Set up and maintain Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout features
• Improve flow and process for better user experience and faster runtime
• Work with vendors and designers to evaluate and deploy new features
• Build regression test benches to maintain CAD tool and flow quality
• Provide technical support and training to users across multiple sites
• Enhance overall user experience through AI agent integration

• Experience with StarRC extraction or any equivalent vendor tool
• Experience with Virtuoso schematic/layout or any equivalent vendor tool
• Experience with Calibre or any equivalent vendor tool
• Experience with creating AI agents using Claude Code or any equivalent AI agentic tool
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Tcl, Python, and Cadence SKILL

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
