Job SummaryAcrisure Trade Credit is seeking a high performing Client Advisor focused exclusively on trade credit insurance solutions. This role is responsible for developing new client relationships and advising organizations on strategies to protect accounts receivable through domestic and export credit insurance.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the trade credit insurance market and understand how credit insurance programs are structured, marketed, and placed with global underwriters. This individual will work with manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, staffing firms, and other business to business organizations that sell on payment terms and require protection from customer non‑payment risk.
Responsibilities- Achieve annual objectives established in the sales plan by developing a qualified pipeline of trade credit insurance opportunities and converting them into new client relationships.
- Identify companies with significant accounts receivable exposure and introduce trade credit insurance as a solution to manage credit risk.
- Develop relationships with CFOs, controllers, credit managers, and other financial decision makers responsible for credit policy and receivables management.
- Evaluate client credit exposure and structure trade credit insurance programs that protect receivables while supporting business growth.
- Work directly with global credit insurance underwriters to structure competitive policies and coverage terms for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver proposals and implement customized trade credit insurance solutions.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting through CRM platforms.
- Stay informed on developments within the trade credit insurance market, global trade trends, and credit risk conditions affecting clients.
- Prior experience within the trade credit insurance industry strongly preferred.
- Experience working with trade credit insurance products, credit insurance brokers, or global credit insurance underwriters.
- Knowledge of domestic and export credit insurance markets and how policies are structured.
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow client relationships in a consultative sales environment.
- Experience working with financial decision makers such as CFOs, controllers, or credit managers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline and close complex B2B opportunities.
- Active state Insurance Producer or Broker License required.
The base compensation range for this position is $75,000 – $150,000. This range reflects Acrisure’s good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
