About the RoleSamsung Display, the world’s leading OLED provider, seeks a Senior Manager of Field Application Engineering to support customers and collaborate with Korean HQ on product development, project management, technical support, and market research. The role is a key individual‑contributor position focused on OLED and QD‑OLED technologies.
What You’ll Do- Develop and execute promotion plans for new products and technology to existing and target customers with the goal to secure RFQ for upcoming products.
- Support design efforts by performing joint validation and testing of the Samsung products (OLED, QD‑OLED) on customer platforms, including electrical, mechanical, optical, safety, and reliability tests until closure.
- Communicate daily with customers regarding technical issues and project schedules.
- Conduct face‑to‑face customer meetings weekly/daily as needed to provide support, discuss current issues, provide updates, discuss current and future business, and build strong relationships.
- Address customer issues by gathering facts, recommending solutions, and gaining SDC management support.
- Provide customer support, including product information, road‑maps, demonstrations, and technical assistance.
- Report progress and opportunities to management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and solicit support when needed.
- Update key activities through weekly reports for executive review.
- Communicate with the corporate HQ team regarding pending and new issues.
- Deliver insights based on real‑time customer feedback and establish execution plans accordingly.
- Bachelor’s in engineering and 15+ years of experience, or a Master’s and 13+ years of experience, or a PhD and 10+ years of industry experience (preferred).
- Experience in consumer electronics, preferably technical experience in the display industry.
- Solid understanding of OLED display technologies and basic understanding of other types of displays.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive projects forward and solve issues creatively.

Competitive base pay range: $189,000 – $301,000 USD. Pay varies by location and experience.
