Litigation Attorney Opportunity in San Jose – Focus on Labor & Employment Law

Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 per year

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a talented Mid to Senior‑level Litigation Attorney to join our expanding practice. • Manage all stages of labor and employment litigation, including case assessment, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and conduct thorough legal research.
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, ensuring effective advocacy.
• Provide strategic counsel to clients, staying informed on legal developments and industry trends.
• Negotiate settlements, manage disputes, and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver successful outcomes.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active CA Bar license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
• Proven expertise in motion practice, discovery disputes, trial preparation, and trial experience.
• Experience handling labor and employment trials (first chair or second chair preferred).
• Proven experience handling complex litigation, including taking and defending depositions, managing discovery, and drafting legal motions.
• Familiarity with Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases and employment‑related class actions is highly desirable.
• In‑depth knowledge of California state and federal court procedures, rules, and practices.
