Job Description
Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm in San Jose, is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys supporting multiple litigation attorneys.
About the RoleThe Litigation Assistant will provide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys handling complex and employment litigation matters. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, exceptional organization, and a stable work history with at least 5 years of litigation support experience.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, format, and edit correspondence, briefs, pleadings, TOAs, TOCs, and other legal documents
- E-file in Federal and State courts and ensure compliance with court rules
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings and depositions
- Process expense reports and check requests
- Coordinate and maintain client files and document management systems (experience with Net Docs is a plus)
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Minimum 4+ years of stable litigation support experience (required)
- Employment law experience (required)
- Proficiency in MS Word (required)
- Strong knowledge of Federal and State court rules
- Ability to effectively support multiple attorneys
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
