Customer Service/Warehouse Associate
The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate will provide customer support, complete sales transactions, manage material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading, pulling/assembling orders, and inventory checks. This position may involve daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.
Primary ObjectivesPerforms a variety of customer service/office administration and warehouse duties related to the operation of the Sales Service Center.
Responsibilities- Wait on customers and assist them in determining order requirements, answering inquiries, providing samples, and direction/selection assistance.
- Complete sales transactions and accept payments.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and order errors.
- Process payments and receipts, reconcile DSRs and cash boxes, prepare bank deposits, balance petty cash, and prepare performance reports.
- Update customer master file and create vendor orders.
- Enter customer orders, create plant/RDC orders, and complete stock replenishment orders.
- Prepare sales slips and produce daily sales reports.
- Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, perform inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns, and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operate crane/forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and general office maintenance.
- Uphold safety rules, report all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- HS diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of customer service experience and warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience.

Regularly required to stand, use hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. Able to lift up to 15-30 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs at certain times, or perform team lift for items longer than 36 inches or exceeding 70 lbs. Requires good close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
