Senior Category Sourcing Manager II (Req )

• Lead supplier performance and strategic relationships for the Semiconductor Sourcing team.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in alignment with business objectives, partnering with internal Micron customers to drive implementation across DRAM module products.
• Own end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, ensuring alignment across key customers.
• Drive cost savings initiatives and track performance against defined metrics.
• Lead process improvement efforts applying AI to increase efficiency and scalability.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sourcing or relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong technical or engineering foundation, with the ability to understand component‑level tradeoffs, supplier capabilities, and system‑level impacts.
• Experience working with and influencing senior and executive leadership, including presenting strategies and recommendations.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and manage competing priorities to drive outcomes.

• Prior experience working with DRAM module components such as PMIC or RCD.
• Experience in external facing roles, showing an ability to effectively represent Micron while maintaining confidentiality and managing supplier expectations.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $90,000.00 – $ a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
