Logistics Operations Specialist

The Logistics Operations Specialist will support daily logistics operations, transportation, customs

compliance, vendor invoicing, and shipment exception resolution.

• Has 1+ years of experience in logistics management, transportation, and import/export compliance (preferred)
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Has experience with the classification process
• Is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables
• Is organized, assertive, self-motivated, and results-driven

• Support daily logistics operations, including shipment tracking, transportation coordination, and following up on shipment discrepancies
• Resolve customs clearance issues with customs brokers
• Handle customs compliance related to C-TPAT, ANL, customs regulations, and HTS code maintenance
• Validate customs entry documentation before carrier invoices are generated to help prevent unnecessary or unauthorized charges
• Conduct regular internal audits of trade activities, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
• Review and process logistics vendor invoices
• Perform invoice aging reconciliation with carriers
• Monitor incident reports for shipment exceptions and take corrective actions
• Manage RMA handling, including creating shipping labels and monitoring return shipments to designated locations
• Coordinate with shippers regarding customs import clearance inquiries and issues
• Collaborate with customs brokers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve logistics and compliance issues
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and adapt to changing business needs
