Logistics Operations Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation, shipping, import/export, and customs activities. This position will coordinate closely with logistics providers, customs brokers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure shipments are tracked, discrepancies are resolved, and logistics operations run efficiently.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation, shipping, import/export, and customs activities. This position will coordinate closely with logistics providers, customs brokers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure shipments are tracked, discrepancies are resolved, and logistics operations run efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of logistics, transportation, or import/export experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and experience supporting product classification and customs processes.

• Support daily logistics and transportation operations, including shipment tracking and delivery follow-up.
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and transportation issues.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to resolve customs clearance issues.
• Support import/export compliance activities and product classification processes.
• Monitor shipment exceptions and incident reports and take appropriate corrective action.
• Review, validate, and process invoices from logistics and transportation vendors.
• Maintain accurate logistics and shipment records.
• Communicate with carriers, brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and outstanding issues.
• Assist with reporting and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.

• 2+ years of experience in logistics management, transportation, supply chain, or import/export compliance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with import/export classification processes.
• Understanding of customs clearance and working with customs brokers.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:

• Ability to follow up proactively and manage multiple shipments or priorities simultaneously.
